Page and Macrae Engineering is the main mechanical contractor on Nga Awa Purua 130MW Geothermal Power Project.
This involves the erection of 80 tonne vessells, transformers, 300 Tonnes of large bore pipework, installation of the main turbine generator and its ancillary pumps and equipment.
Euro Scaffold provided the scaffolding for the project over the 12 months on site. The All-Rounder laye system they used meant that they were fast and efficient at erecting the scaffolds as required. The long truss sections were excellent for spanning the bigger distances.

Sumitomo will have more than 100 significant scaffold assignments to complete its construction activities. Euro Scaffolds have provided innovative solutions where necessary, participated in a very proactive manner in planning the scaffolding, provided either fixed prices or detailed budget estimates for the many work areas.
Euro Scaffolds also have a good safety culture, ensured their work complied with regulations and industry guidelines, and been proactive in addressing any of Sumitomo's or its subcontractors concerns regarding health and safety.
