In 2004 Hugh Laity established Euro Scaffolds & Access in Taupo. With his extensive experience in the construction industry he saw a gap in the market for a premium scaffolding service that offered innovative and creative, elevated solutions, coupled with commitment to excellent customer service. 

 
The company aligned itself with Layher Scaffolding Systems as its principal equipment supplier. The use of Layher Scaffold gives the company a distinct advantage in the market place with its consistent ease of use and endless possibilites. 

Hugh's eldest sons', Matt and Jono Laity are both heavily involved in the running of the company; managing the Taupo and Rotorua sites. With the advantage of family commitment, shared labour and vision, the three men have developed strong operational and management systems, allowing the company to expand its capabilities and engage in large scale contracts throughout the Central North Island.
