In 2004 Hugh Laity established Euro Scaffold & Access in Taupo. With his extensive experience in the construction industry he saw a gap in the market for a premium scaffolding service that offered innovative and creative elevated solutions, coupled with committed customer care.

 
The company aligned itself with Layher Scaffolding Systems as its principal supplier of equipment. The use of Layher Scaffold gives the company a distinct advantage in the market place with its consistent ease of use and endless possibilites. 

Matt and Jono Laity, Hugh's sons have become enthusiastically involved in the operations of the company. With the advantage of family commitment, shared labour and vision, the three men have developed strong operational and management systems. This has allowed the company to expand its operations into Rotorua and engage in large scale contracts around the Central North Island.
