Taupo District Council – building demolition

The old Taupo District Council building had asbestos so needed to be demolished safely and quickly. We erected secure scaffolding fencing with scrim (fence wrap) to secure the site and contain any asbestos.

We then scaffolded the entire building providing multiple ladder access points for workers to remove the asbestos and cladding. The team then swiftly removed the scaffolding, so the building could be demolished.

Our experienced team complied with the asbestos health and safety law and helped to achieve a successful demolition of a hazardous building.
